Case Overview:
The University of Cape Verde (Uni-CV) is the nation’s sole public university. Its primary campus is situated in Palmarejo, Praia, with additional campuses in Mindelo, Assomada, and São Jorge dos Órgãos. With an enrollment of over 5,000 students, Uni-CV is a key educational institution in the region. A new campus, currently under construction in Palmarejo, is being funded by the Chinese government. Once completed, the facility will accommodate 4,890 students and 476 faculty members. The campus will feature a library, student dormitories, dining facilities, and sports amenities. The university will include 61 classrooms, five auditoriums with seating for 150 each, eight computer labs, eight reading rooms, and 34 specialized laboratories.
